Interactive city data viz

A 3D interactive model of the Oxford Road corridor in Manchester in 2015-2016 while I was teaching at the Manchester School of Architecture as an associate lecturer. The model was made with the final year students at the Manchester School of Architecture MArch CPU atelier 2015-2016 to visualize the site context, environmental data and to showcase the student’s own projects.

In this project, I have setup, structured and created the basis for the model in Unity, and wrote the code for it to work. Orchestrated the 3D modelling of all existing buildings and urban features with 10+ final year MArch students. Instructed, collated and compiled all students final projects (shown in yellow) in different sites across the model for the final year exhibition both on displays as an interactive model and as a large print out.
