Short video showing test of a WIP opengl drawing utility script for Maya: (pyMGL) based on previous exploration in opengl in Maya.
Using Cellular Automata game of life in Maya, I am looking to achieve processing-like “sketching” abilities within Maya where there is more control over camera, geometries and other tools. Video is not real-time. Actual run time is very slow when there is over 40000 entities (each running neighbor checks without optimisation)
